Hey, I’m Trisha.

I help people heal from the harm of dieting and disordered eating, and guide them in rebuilding a peaceful relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves—through coaching, classes, support groups, and trauma-sensitive yoga.

Work with Me

Most people reach out to me because they want to lose weight. That’s usually the doorway in — the pain point that finally makes them take action. They’re tired of feeling uncomfortable in their own skin, frustrated with their body, or confused by the mixed messages about food and health. But what they often discover, once we begin working together, is that their desire for weight loss is really a call for something deeper: peace, trust, and freedom in their relationship with food and their body.

So many people come to me with gut issues, sluggish metabolism, stress, or disordered eating patterns — but underneath it all is a body that’s been talked over, controlled, or ignored for too long. My work helps you tune back in. Together, we start to rebuild that relationship — learning what your body needs, what it’s trying to tell you, and how to nourish it in a way that feels supportive, not restrictive.

I don’t hand out diet plans or quick fixes. I teach you to listen. Through mindful eating practices, gentle story work, and somatic awareness, we get to the heart of what’s been driving your patterns — the beliefs, habits, and emotions that keep you stuck. This process lowers food anxiety, quiets the constant “food noise,” and helps you move away from a diet mindset toward a sustainable, embodied way of living.

Clients often tell me that what they came for — the weight loss — becomes less important as they begin to feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to themselves. Their energy improves, their digestion steadies, their self-talk softens. They stop fighting their bodies and start working with them.

If you’re ready for a different kind of health journey — one that honors both your physical and emotional wellbeing — this work is for you. It’s not about control; it’s about connection. Because when you find peace with food and your body, everything else starts to fall into place naturally.

  • Item description
  • Trauma-sensitive yoga offers a safe and empowering way to reconnect with your body and mind through gentle movement and postures. Emphasizing choice and safety, this practice provides tools to regulate your nervous system, build coping skills, and notice moments of calm and security. Our facilitators guide you with present-moment awareness, offering options that support your journey towards balance and a more embodied sense of self. You'll always have the choice of how and whether to participate, with opportunities to pause and rejoin as needed. While a powerful support, trauma-sensitive yoga is a complement to, not a replacement for, licensed talk therapy.

  • Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and gentle practice focused on stillness and comfort to support your physical and mental well-being. Unlike more active styles, Restorative uses props like blankets and bolsters to help you find comfortable poses held for longer periods, promoting deep relaxation throughout your body. Our classes invite you to release tension and find calm in supported postures.
